India’s Jakson says its new lithium battery inverter offering consists of a 3 kW battery energy storage system with a 3 kW hybrid inverter and a 4.8 kWh, 48V lithium-ion battery module. It can be expanded to megawatt scale, depending on power backup requirements.

India’s largest oil company targets 10 GW of renewables by 2030

Avaada Energy wins 560 MW solar project with $0.035/kWh bid in India

Avaada Energy has won a 560 MW (DC) solar project from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL). The project will supply power to MSEDCL at a tariff of INR 2.88 ($0.035)/kWh.

India’s Rayzon Solar to make TOPCon modules in US

Chirag Nakrani, the director of Rayzon Solar, told pv magazine that the company’s 500 MW PV module factory in the United States will start producing TOPCon solar modules by June 2024.
