There’s a rejuvenated feeling in the UK solar market where a new government is making positive signals and considering key policy changes aimed at speeding up project commissioning. For storage, there’s still serious interest in utility-scale deployment with some significant projects in the pipeline.

Australian battery manufacturer Redflow has entered voluntary administration after failing to secure capital to upscale its X10 battery for larger projects.

Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) is seeking bids to build and operate 600 MWh of standalone battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The utility plans to sign battery energy storage purchase agreements (BESPA) with the winning bidders.
