Flexible modules made to measure
07. June 2011 | |Newly founded Special Module Design (SMD) is presenting the HES and MEF series of modules for made-to-measure solar cells.
The HES series offers crystalline film solar modules with an efficiency of up to 18 percent. The modules are obtainable in rigid to semi-flexible form, with nominal power of one to 250 watts. The MEF series consists of spherical crystalline solar cells with an efficiency of up to ten percent.
The modules are described as highly flexible, with great breaking strength. The design is variable in color and dimensions. The maximum power class available is quoted as 100 watts. It is to go on sale in July 2011.
